Rail Vehicles

A substantial number of locomotives in Sub Saharan Africa are nearing the end of their service lives and will require replacement or major refurbishment in the near future. Our marketing efforts to date was rewarded by the successful completion of the Madarail project in Madagascar in 2007. The five MTU 12V4000R41 engines supplied for the project have successfully accumulated 6000 operating hours.

We continuously aim to create a close relationship with prospective clients and their agents in order to present the following benefits of our rail products and services in an atmosphere of trust and understanding.

We are working hard at exploring all possible opportunities to prove our metal in the Sub-Saharan rail market. We are confident that our products and support systems will meet the most stringent requirements and expectations of prospective clients. Our field proven standards of engine and traction system products will amply meet the most exacting current demands and our continued investment in technology will keep pace with future demands. Current MTU traction system technology provides us with a sound basis for competing on more than equal footing in the areas of life cycle costs, reliability and emission levels.
