Tailoring a standard ship automation system to meet your requirements is a job for someone who knows your vessel inside-out: MTU.
The MTU standard ship automation systems are based on the automation platforms MCS-5 (MCS - Monitoring Control System) and MCS-6 – modularly designed systems developed especially for the use in yachts, workboats and patrol boats.
smartline, blueline and bluevision are the MTU standard ship automation systems based on today’s platform MCS-5. Depending on the layout of your vessel, your needs and your budget you can choose between the straightforward smartline version, the more comprehensive blueline and the top-of-the-range bluevision version. The differences lie in the control facilities on the consoles and in design variations for classified and non-classified plants.
The new generation MCS-6 replaces the proven automation platform MCS-5 which has been successfully deployed in thousands of applications for more than 20 years. The system will be introduced in several steps. During phase one, BlueVision | NewGeneration replaces the existing products smartline and blueline. The BlueVision_Basic | NewGeneration version is straight-forward and non-classifiable and will be complemented by the expanded, classifiable version BlueVision_Advanced | NewGeneration.
All three systems include the RCS Remote Control System.
Your partner MTU takes responsibility across-the-board – one sure way of eliminating interface problems.
