Coolants from MTU offer four-way protection:

• By lowering the freezing point of the coolant in cold environments to protect against freeze-up
• By elevating the boiling point of the coolant in hot and heavy-duty conditions to protect against overheating
• By forming a durable, sacrificial coating, to protect the cylinder liners from cavitation damages (“pitting”)
• By inhibiting the formation of corrosion and deposits that can lead to overheating
