MTU Onsite Energy is built on a legacy of advanced engine design and manufacturing, plus more than half a century of perfecting and packaging power generation systems.

Our heritage combines some of the most dominating names in power generation – including diesel engine experts MTU and Detroit Diesel, and systems integration specialist Katolight.

Our combined organization is now known as MTU Onsite Energy.

Today, MTU Onsite Energy has a very strong presence in North America. Power generation systems are assembled in our ISO:9001 certified plant in Mankato, Minnesota – the center of over 50 years of diesel, gaseous and power take-off generator set manufacturing and packaging expertise.

Support for those systems is provided by factory-trained service professionals with one goal in mind: to deliver a power solution - whenever and wherever you need it. Our network of over 300 North American service locations means that you’re never far from an authorized distributor or dealer who has a knowledgeable sales staff and EGSA-certified service technicians who can fulfill all of your power needs.
