PT. MTU Indonesia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tognum Asia Pte Ltd (formerly MTU Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore). With branch and offices in Balikpapan, Sangatta, Makassar, Palembang and Medan, we form the backbone for the operations of MTU in Indonesia.

The company was setup in Cilandak Commercial Estate in Jakarta in 2003 as the MTU Sales Office and Service & Parts Center, with training facility and workshop serving all MTU customers in Indonesia.

An office in Sangatta was then established in 2004 for the on-site support of MTU S4000 mining engines in the area.

In 2006, to support the repair and overhaul of MTU diesel engines in mining sites in Kalimantan, the company has setup a branch office and workshop in Balikpapan.

Makassar and Palembang representative offices were opened in 2010 as an expansion of MTU after sales network in Indonesia to serve customers better and faster.
