MTU India Pvt. Ltd is a Tognum Group company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tognum Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore (formerly known as MTU Asia Pte Ltd). MTU India is engaged in the business of marketing and distribution of MTU, Detroit Diesel and Mercedes Benz (Off Highway) diesel engines and spare parts, including associated equipment. It covers wide range of applications like Marine, PowerGen, Mining, Oil & Gas and Defense.

MTU India covers sales and services for India and Nepal. MTU India provides complete After Sales Service for MTU diesel engines through its wide Dealer Network. It includes Field Service, Warranty support, Maintenance Contract, Engine Overhauls and Training.

Our Head Office is strategically located at Pune, Maharashtra. This integrated premise has Corporate Office, Service Center, Parts Warehouse and Training Center. Our Regional Sales Offices are located at New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai and Field Service Offices at Singrauli, Korba, Mangalore and Visakhapatnam.

In 2010, MTU India opened the first MTU - Engineering & Research Center (EARC) outside Germany in Pune. The main function of the EARC is to support the MTU global Engineering & Research Division with the design of engine components and systems.

In 2011, MTU Global Purchasing Office (GPO) started its operations. This is located at MTU India Head Office. The function of Global Purchasing Office is to support MTU Friedrichshafen for developing engine component suppliers in India.

MTU India has a wide reaching network of 1 Licensee partner, 1 Industrial OEM, 3 Service dealers and 5 authorized OEM / Service Dealers for PowerGen strategically located throughout the country to enable effective and efficient support to our customers.
